The plot shifted in 1706 when Flint and his crew flee from Grand Turk and start a six -month wandering through the Caribbean before they arrive at the safe Saint Georges Island, a place that promises accommodation, port and support.

Flint is faced with questions of revenge and forgetting: Can wealth heal all wounds? The piece deals with central topics such as forgetting, love and revenge and gives the viewer hope for shocking twists and emotional farewell scenes between Flint and his crew. The fate of Capt’n Flint at the end of history is left mysteriously open.
