A bizarre incident in Rostock on July 4th, 2025 caused a stir and numerous police operations. A 22-year-old man, who was already banned from entering the building, tried to steal a bottle of wine from a gas station in the Kröpeliner-Tor suburb. The staff reacted quickly and prevented the theft. But the young man refused to let anyone talk to him and fled. A short time later, the police found him nearby with a breath alcohol level of 2.2 per mille, which indicates a pretty boozy evening.
After the officers took him into custody, he was forced to rest that night. Already in the evening of the same day he harassed guests in a fast food restaurant on Doberaner Platz and disrupted operations. Another theft
The following day, July 5th, 2025, there was another attempted theft. A 35-year-old man tried to steal goods worth around 18 euros from a supermarket in the Schmarl district.
