Brecht-Park in Evershagen: Still free apartments for family and seniors!

Brecht-Park in Evershagen: Still free apartments for family and seniors!

in Evershagen, Rostock, the residential area is going on "Brecht-Park". The construction work is progressing quickly, and two residential buildings for the “Wohnen am Park” project and a eleven -storey high -rise are about to be completed. The first residents in the "Brecht bar" have been at home since 2022. The entire neighborhood comprises at least 175 apartments, of which 90 are funded. So it becomes clear that there is a socially mixed range of housing that appeals to families, singles and seniors equally, as the Ostsee newspaper reports.

The range of housing in the "Brecht-Park" is diverse. Both publicly funded and freely financed apartments of different sizes are planned. These range from compact 26 square meters to spacious 114 square meters. Each apartment captivates with floor -to -ceiling windows, a balcony or a terrace and is of course accessible by the elevator. In addition, the residential groups in the high -rise are characterized by a well thought -out design - ten barrier -free apartments and a common room promote the interaction between the residents.

social mix and modern equipment

A special Highlight are the 21 subsidized apartments in the high -rise building, which are very attractive with a cold rent of 7.40 euros per square meter. In comparison, the ten apartments and 33 freely financed apartments cost 11.30 euros per square meter. Interested parties should hurry because there are still some capacities available. Karolin Dobbert, who has lived in one of the 69 social building apartments since May 2022, is happy about her three -room apartment, which costs just 6.60 euros per square meter and is equipped with smart technologies. This offer is particularly interested in young families or seniors in the district. The Brecht-Park is growing, and the demand is high!

Another big plus of the project is the technical facilities. Photovoltaic systems are installed on the roofs of the “Riegel”, which supply the apartments proportionately with electricity. In addition, a tenant electricity model is planned for “living at the park”, which enables residents to use environmentally friendly energy.

environment and sustainability

The upgrading of the living environment is not neglected. Sports devices, seating and a chess board provide for future plans to encourage the outdoor areas to actively use. This means that future tenants are not only available to modern living rooms, but also attractive leisure opportunities, which significantly increases the quality of life in the Brecht Park.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the entire neighborhood was set in August 2020 and the foundation stone for the high -rise took place in May 2023. According to the previous forecasts, the first tenants can move in from autumn 2025, while the last until spring 2026. The total costs of the project amount to around 41 million euros, a clear indicator for the large -scale approach of this initiative.

The construction project is not only a milestone for the city, but also offers an important opportunity to create living space that meets the needs of the current tenants. More information about the project and the later tenders of the apartments can be found on the website of the housing cooperative or on the website of the Ostsee-Zeitung and wgsh.de.
