Colorful Sea Festival 2024: Fun and variety for the whole family!
Warnemünde, Deutschland - in Warnemünde it gets colorful and lively again: From July 25th to 27th, 2024 the "Bunte Sea Festival" takes place, and the anticipation is already great. Organizer David Juhnke, a third generation of Warnemünde, launched the premiere of this family -friendly festival after the first edition met in July 2023. Positive reactions from visitors encouraged Juhnke and his team to set up the event again. The plans for the second edition were concretized over the winter of 2023, and an association is also founded. Nordkurier reports that Juhnke's little son has a weighty word when choosing the bouncy castles that make the children's heart beat faster.
The festival, which takes place in the Kurhausgarten, primarily wants to promote diversity and creativity. The focus is on cooperation and sustainability. "We want to create a meeting point where young people can meet and exchange," says Juhnke, who has been dreaming of this revitalization of the region since the 1990s. Perhaps this year he will be able to further realize the vision of an inclusive festival. The goal is to bring together as many population groups as possible to enable cultural participation. Inclusion is at the top of the agenda. The Warnemünder knows that in this context workshops on various topics such as painting, spraying and even yoga is offered-everyone can find something here.
a colorful program for everyone
The festival begins on Friday, July 26th, at 5 p.m. in the Wal beach bar and is open on all three days from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to offers for children, such as the already mentioned bouncy castles, there will also be sporty highlights: a skate and longboard workshop in the concert shell is waiting for all those who want to learn new tricks. The culinary delights are not neglected either, with an offer from vegan, sugar -free bagels to sweet treats. And so that the music is not neglected, Leon takes care of the right atmosphere with his handmade sounds. About Cultural Participation Thinking Juhnke and his team far out and encourage all visitors to actively in the event to bring in.
"We started the planning with a clear vision," continues Juhnke. "We want to design the festival in such a way that it not only remains a unique experience, but also becomes an integral part of cultural life in Warnemünde." The entire community is behind this project: the tourism center and local partners such as warneforns and Christoph Krause actively support. The goal is ambitious: with an expected number of visitors of at least 1500, which can even increase up to 3000 in good weather, they want to create a real festival for the senses.
The financing of the workshops and infrastructure is partly based on a crowdfunding campaign on startnext.com, which runs until the end of the month. Admission remains free and these are news that can be seen! Most offers are also free of charge, only for food and drinks are asked for small donations. In this way everyone should have the opportunity to take part in the festival and enjoy something from the colorful variety.
