Katja Gödke, managing director of the Warnow Water and Wastewater Association (WWAV), emphasizes that the construction of the memory is an answer to the growth of the community and increasing demands on water quality. The impressive new container has an inner diameter of 36 meters and measures over 6 meters in height. The construction period was 18 months, and the investment of 4.7 million euros has been the largest investment investment in recent years. A quarter of these costs are covered by funding from the Federal Office for Population Protection and Disaster Aid. A direct connection to the Rostock waterworks also helps here to be able to provide the required drinking water.
