Currently there are four seals in the new facility at home: Seehund Sammy, who is four years old, Seehund Gizmo, who has been around for 24 years, as well as the Susi Seehünd, who was soon recruited, and two newly added South African Seebären, Alfie and Eda from Breslau and Prague. The system is planned so that it is also well equipped for future youngsters.

The new seals have finally arrived in their new home. Sammy and Gizmo have been back in the Rostock Zoo for a week and have fun together with their new conspecifics, the South African seaside bear.
