She has invested a significant five-figure sum and now employs a team of six people to realize her vision for high-quality baked goods. Of course, the café is not a classic “bakery” as Almstädt does not have a master baker on staff, but it delights its guests every day with homemade delicacies such as Franzbrötchen and special sweet pastries made with sourdough.

The café is known for its relaxed atmosphere and the quality of its products. The prices may be a little above average - Franzbrötchen cost 4.50 euros and breads around seven euros - but the enjoyment you experience here speaks for itself. This quality is also supported by the Google rating of 5/5 that the cafe has received from visitors. The typical opening hours of Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. make the café an ideal place to relax with a cup of coffee.

But it wasn't just the quality of the baked goods that put Almstädt on the shortlist as the best baker. In the future, this could represent an exciting opportunity for Almstädt to expand its range and be even more diversified.
