In New Mexico, she remembered Croatia, while Illinois impressed with his white-blue wooden houses and Missouri with brick houses. Texas was characterized by many cows and red landscapes enchanted in Arizona.

A highlight of her tour was the visit of California, where Alexia crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and visited the Alcatraz prison. In Hollywood, however, she had less gratifying impressions. "I didn't like the crowd," she confessed.
