Dargun gets fast internet and 270 HD channels – information here!
Landwerke MV Broadband GmbH is investing in the digital future and announces the almost completed expansion of the RE.NE regional network in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. As Nordkurier reports, the residents of Dargun and the surrounding communities such as Borrentin, Meesiger, Nossendorf, Schönfeld, Sommersdorf, Verchen and Warrenzin benefit from improved access to fast internet. With the new offer, citizens can now secure the best tariffs and at the same time enjoy cooperation with the streaming service waipu.tv.
A comprehensive offer
Thanks to waipu.tv, over 270 television channels in HD quality are available to users in the region. This is a real win for the local media landscape. In order to clarify questions about the new possibilities of the Internet, Landwerke MV is holding two consultation hours in September. The appointments are scheduled every Thursday on September 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the meeting room of the town hall in Dargun. Here, interested parties can find out about the current status of construction work, the termination of old contracts and availability on the new network.
Support for rural regions
The need for robust internet is clearer than ever: access to high-speed internet is not only crucial for entertainment, but also for the economic development of rural regions. The current expansion is part of a larger plan to future-proof the digital infrastructure. According to bmleh, lawmakers will do everything in their power to achieve comprehensive fiber optic networks by 2030, supported by appropriate funding.
Landwerke MV Broadband GmbH works closely with partners such as Stadtwerke Neustrelitz, Pasewalk, Malchow, Rostock and WEMAG AG. This cooperation aims to close the digital divide and make rural areas more attractive.
A look into the future
The project not only improves access to fast internet, but also lays the foundation for innovative digital concepts in the health sector. The EU is taking big steps towards the goal of providing gigabit networks to all households by 2030. This is a crucial factor for the competitiveness of rural companies. The federal government is committed to driving forward the digital transformation with public funding and is continually evaluating the progress of the measures.
With their commitment, Landwerke MV Broadband GmbH shows that they have a good hand when it comes to enabling people in the region to have an improved digital future. The project is also supported by the federal government, which is another positive aspect for the development in Dargun and the surrounding communities.
