Dynamo Schwerin triumphs 7-0 – new additions cause a sensation!

The Dynamo Schwerin footballers showed in the second preseason test match that they had the game firmly under control with a clear 7-0 win against MSV Pampow. After the previous defeat with 0:6 against 1. FC Phönix Lübeck, the team under coach Jano Klempkow bounced back impressively. The goal scorers were Mahdi Mohammadi and Marvin Runge, who each scored two goals, as well as Randy Dei, also with two goals, and Schilling, who rounded off the result. Despite the clear victory, Klempkow admitted that the pressing at the start of the game did not go according to plan and there was both light and shadow to be observed.

After a bumpy start, the team found their form again and presented themselves well. The next test match against Holstein Kiel II is scheduled for July 26th, before things get serious in league play on August 3rd against Berliner AK.

New additions strengthen the team

Dynamo Schwerin has noticeably strengthened itself for the coming season and has brought seven new players into the team. Among these new additions are Mahdi Mohammadi and Randy Dei from Hansa II, as well as Ahmed Sawil from FC Förderkader/A-Youth and Luca Bergholdt from JFV Lübeck/A-Youth. David Manukyan from their own A-youth team and Yamen Hassoud from Dynamo II were also able to be signed. A special focus is on Smajo Hasanovic, 24 years old, who was recently without a club and most recently played for OSC Bremerhaven. These new faces promise a breath of fresh air in the Dynamo Schwerin squad. SVZ reports that the team needs some time to get used to the game, especially after a series of friendly games in which the newcomers were able to prove themselves.

In another test match, Dynamo won 4-2 against Malchower SV, the reigning champions of the MV association league. New signings Maksym Beshliaha and Bradley Lokilo were also used here. Coach Klempkow observed that the team needed a quarter of an hour to get into the game, but overall numerous chances were created and the defensive setup was good.

Current situation of the team

Despite the positive test match results, the team is heading into the rest of the preparation phase with mixed feelings. So far there has been no win in the top league and the first two league games ended in defeats. Coach Torsten Gütschow pointed out the difficulties, especially the performance in the last half hour against Wismar, which was not satisfactory. The next matches, including the challenge against a tougher opponent who was relegated from the Regionalliga, will show whether the performance stabilizes.

For the next few weeks, the first home game against FSV Optik Rathenow has been postponed to September 6th, while the team is forced to look for training alternatives due to closed training grounds and had to complete the final training in Dalberg. So much initiative shows that those responsible are very concerned about the development of the team.

With a motivated squad, fresh newcomers and the will to master the challenges ahead, it remains to be seen how Dynamo Schwerin fares as the preparation progresses. The next games will show whether they can find each other quickly and learn from their experiences.
