The volleyball scene in Germany is back in the spotlight because SSC Palmberg Schwerin has ambitiously prepared for the new 2025/26 Bundesliga season. After an exciting year in which the club was able to win the coveted title of German Champion, it is now a matter of confirming the successes and reaching further heights. At this year's WT Energy Systems Supercup, Schwerin had to surrender 1: 3 against Dresdner SC. Despite this defeat, the association is optimistic about the upcoming challenges. The new season contest a total of eleven teams, including three promoters: Hamburg, Flacht and Borken. Each team has one goal: to secure a strong starting position for the play-offs that will start at the end of March 2026.

Full calendar and high ambitions

The start of the new volleyball year is already just around the corner. On October 12, 2025, the SSC in Münster will be against the USC. The first home game in the Palmberg Arena will then take place on October 18, 2025 against ETV Volksbank Hamburg. The anticipation among fans is great: over 750 season tickets in the public sector and more than 300 hospitality duration tickets have already been sold. So you can look forward to full ranks if the team plays on the home parquet.

A special highlight of the season will be the first group game in the CEV Champions League on November 27, 2025 against Levallois Paris. In addition, you will also be active in the DVV Cup, where the first game on November 8 or 9, 2025 will be played against the winner of the South/Southeast region. The tailwind from last season, in which SSC Palmberg Schwerin was able to win the German championship title, is obvious. In an exciting final against Dresdner SC, which took place in the sold -out Palmberg Arena, Schwerin won 3-2 and secured the 13th championship title in the club's history. Coach Felix Koslowski emphasizes that, in addition to the sporting goals, strategic and psychological adjustments are also necessary for the new season. “We have a good knack for making our dreams come true,” says Koslowski.
