SSC Palmberg Schwerin: Starting the new Bundesliga season 2025/26!

The volleyball scene in Germany is back in the spotlight because SSC Palmberg Schwerin has ambitiously prepared for the new 2025/26 Bundesliga season. After an exciting year in which the club was able to win the coveted title of German Champion, it is now a matter of confirming the successes and reaching further heights. The Volleyball Bundesliga reports on the exciting developments.

At this year's WT Energiesysteme Supercup, however, Schwerin had to admit defeat 1:3 against Dresdner SC. Despite this defeat, the club is optimistic about the challenges ahead. A total of eleven teams are contesting the new season, including three promoted teams: Hamburg, Flacht and Borken. Each team has one goal: to secure a strong starting position for the play-offs, which will begin at the end of March 2026.

Full calendar and high ambitions

The start of the new volleyball year is already around the corner. On October 12, 2025, the SSC will play against the USC in Münster. The first home game in the PALMBERG ARENA will take place on October 18, 2025 against ETV Volksbank Hamburg. The fans are really looking forward to it: over 750 public season tickets and more than 300 hospitality season tickets have already been sold. So you can look forward to full ranks when the team plays on their home floor.

A special highlight of the season will be the first group game in the CEV Champions League on November 27, 2025 against Levallois Paris. They will also be active in the DVV Cup, where the first game will be played on November 8th or 9th, 2025 against the winner of the South/Southeast region. SSC Palmberg Schwerin is ready for an intensive season.

Emotional championship celebration as motivation

The tailwind from last season, in which SSC Palmberg Schwerin won the German championship title, is obvious. In an exciting final against Dresdner SC, which took place in the sold-out PALMBERG ARENA, Schwerin won 3-2 and secured the 13th championship title in the club's history. The celebration knew no bounds, especially when Elles Dambrink was named MVP of the game. The club celebrated this success extensively.

Coach Felix Koslowski emphasizes that, in addition to the sporting goals, strategic and psychological adjustments are also necessary for the new season. “We have a good knack for making our dreams come true,” says Koslowski. Last but not least, it is important to take advantage of the chance to defend the title and further silverware for the Schwerin fans who are always loyal to the team.

The entire volleyball community can look forward to the upcoming games because one thing is certain: the 2025/26 season promises a lot of action and unpredictable twists and turns!
