It's going to be exciting in the Palmberg Arena, because on November 1st and 2nd it's time again: “Determination of the best in sports acrobatics”. The best sports acrobats in Germany give their best and show their skills in fascinating duo, trio and mixed formations. Loud Baltic Sea newspaper The event starts at 10 a.m. on both days and entry is free for everyone interested.
The spectators' enthusiasm will be great because the athletes will show an impressive range of elements. From lifting figures to balance elements to expressive choreographies that present a mixture of artistry, gymnastics and dance, there is something for everyone. The event is organized by VfL Schwerin and SV Warnemünde, who are working together with more than 70 volunteers.
Insights into the preparations
Preparations are in full swing. These only started after the season opener for the SSC volleyball players. How Schwerin news reports, the logistics team started on Friday morning at 5 a.m. laying over 1,500 square meters of carpet and connecting four kilometers of cable. In addition, a ton of mat surface has to be transported and brought to the competition area. The organizing team still has some urgent tasks to complete before the event begins.
The musical background of the almost 40 formations is particularly important. All music must be carefully recorded, named and sorted so that everything runs smoothly. Creating participation certificates for the athletes is also on the to-do list. There are also eight sports acrobats from the VfL youth team who will carry signs with the state coats of arms when the various federal states march in.
Tickets and supplies
The audience can look forward to a great competition. So far, almost 850 tickets have been sold and the goal is to sell more than 1,000 tickets. Day tickets cost 8 euros for adults and 3 euros for children, schoolchildren, students, pensioners and the severely disabled, while weekend tickets are available for 10 and 5 euros respectively. Tickets are available at various advance booking points and can also be purchased directly at the arena on the weekend.
Particular attention is paid to feeding the helpers, athletes and trainers. The Helios Clinics support the event by providing almost 500 meals. This means that your physical well-being is also well taken care of during the competition.
