The DWD has already published severe weather warnings for Schleswig-Holstein. So last Friday in Neumünster and Norderstedt there were heavy rainfall, which already caused significant problems. The fire brigade was in large -scale in Neumünster because many emergency calls were received. Roads and basements were flooded, the underpass at the train station had to be closed. Over 80 emergency services were required to cope with the location.
In Norderstedt, the fire brigade experienced a state of emergency: many streets were knee -deep under water, basement and underground garages ran full. The consequences of these storms can still be felt, and an end to the inconsistent weather conditions is not in sight. For the beginning of the week, the forecast will be characterized by a rainy Monday, with temperatures between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius and little high summer flair.

With the weather change, a second storm front moves via Bavaria and Thuringia to southern Lower Saxony on Monday. As of noon, some improvement is expected in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, but there can also be spasty heavy rain cases.
