Due to the rescue helicopter deployment, the motorway in the direction of Hamburg had to be closed for a short time.
Serious accidents on Friday
On Friday morning, a 39-year-old lost control of his Kawasaki near Ventschow and slipped off the road, resulting in serious injuries. Another incident occurred when a 68-year-old collided with a deer on the B5 between Boizenburg and Lauenburg. The collision resulted in a fall with several fractures, so that the injured person also had to be taken to a hospital in Hamburg by rescue helicopter. The B5 had to be closed for more than two hours while the deer died at the scene of the accident. The exact cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the police.

A 75-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a rear-end collision on the B111 between Bansin and Ückeritz and was also taken to a clinic by helicopter.
