SG Greifswald/Loitz wants to score points with a winning streak in the Spreewald!

The SG Uni Greifswald/Loitz is looking forward to its next game in the regional league with a lot of confidence. On Saturday evening at 6 p.m. we face TSG Lübbenau, who are currently in tenth place and haven't exactly shone with good performances recently.

Coach Jürgen Radloff, who is optimistic, expects his team's positive streak to continue. The SG has been unbeaten for four games and recently celebrated an impressive 39:24 win against HC Vorpommern Greifswald, which is recorded as the best performance of the season. “We definitely want to continue this series,” said Radloff and is confident about the upcoming opponent, who has done well in the past.

The statistics speak for Greifswald

Last season the SG won both duels against Lübbenau: the final scores were 35:31 and 31:30. Currently, TSG Lübbenau has only won two of a total of seven games and suffered two defeats in the last two games. This gives SG Uni Greifswald/Loitz an additional boost, even if everyone in the team knows that such games should not be taken lightly.

However, the personnel situation is not entirely uncomplicated. Jakub Vanek is missing for personal reasons and Til Granholm's appearance is still in doubt. “But all the other players are available,” confirms Radloff, which gives him a certain amount of relaxation. The most important thing now is to repeat the performance we showed last in the away game.

A look back at the previous games

The results of the season so far show a mixed picture. In the first four weeks there were both significant defeats and close games. The results at a glance:
