Bird flu in Western Pomerania: Hundreds of chickens affected – what now?

The situation in northern Germany is tense: bird flu has reached Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is causing considerable concern. The massive mortality among wild birds, such as cranes and other species, is particularly alarming.
