In an unpleasant situation, bathers and drivers are currently facing the popular Schaabe on the island of Rügen. On July 2, at least six cars became the target of unknown perpetrators who willingly disassemble tires. Also Nordkurier informed that these vandals targeted the vehicles on the state road 30 between Glowe and Juliusruh-an area where parking is only allowed in targeted areas. There is also a fire -prone pine forest, which makes the unauthorized parking of cars even more problematic.

The damage per vehicle amounts to several hundred euros. So far, six injuries have only filed a complaint with the police. Mario Ulrich from the Sassnitz police station called on those affected to report their incidents in order to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the situation. Only through numerous ads can be used more effectively against such acts. Advertisements can simply be refunded via the state police website or directly at the next police station.

The situation is observed attentively on the Schaabe. When the weather continued, increased police measures could be taken to prevent future deeds and offer bathers a safe experience.
