On Whit Monday, June 9, 2025, the Swabian Forest opens its doors to the audience on the 32nd German Mill Day. At this event, nine historical mills will open their gates and offer an extensive program. The opening of the mill day takes place at the Michelau oil mill in Rudersberg, which is celebrating its 50th birthday this year. Special highlights are the different activities that give visitors an insight into the traditional mill life.
