Big festival: 90 years of the Brockzetel fire brigade inspire the community!

Brockzetel, Deutschland - The Brockzetel volunteer fire brigade recently celebrated its 90th anniversary! On a festive evening in the tool shed, numerous guests, including politicians and firefighting comrades, came together to appreciate this important anniversary. Local fire chief Harald Cornelius thanked the people present, while his predecessor Wilhelm Hinrichs presented the exciting chronicle of the fire brigade.

The history of the fire department in Aurich, founded in 1935, is characterized by numerous missions, including the devastating moor fire from 1966 and the destruction of a barn in 1972. The fire brigade has continued to develop, most recently with the inauguration of a new fire -fighting group vehicle and the completion of a modern fire station. Despite adverse weather conditions, the event was very popular. A service, exciting actions for children and a varied catering offer made the event a complete success. A special highlight was the concept of a pit stop for cyclists who delighted those present.
