Heavy rain causes dangerous accidents on the A7 at Holle!

On Wednesday evening, two traffic accidents occurred on the BAB 7 near Holle, caused by the ongoing heavy rain. At around 8:30 p.m., a 22-year-old Wiesbadener with his Skoda Scala skidded on the rain wet road, collided with the outside protection plank and remained against the direction of travel. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, but the incident could easily have caused further accidents, which was only thanks to the attention of other road users.

just about 15 minutes later, around 8:45 p.m., a second accident occurred on the oncoming lane. A 49-year-old Peiner lost control with his VW Tiguan, touched the center protection plank and came to a stop on the side strip. Here, too, the driver remained unharmed. The police found that both accidents would have been avoidable due to inappropriate speed under the weather conditions. Due to the accident recording, the road had to be closed towards Kassel for around 10 minutes before the traffic could be guided by one lane. The entire route was finally released at 9:45 p.m.
