There are topics such as biodiversity, gardening in climate change, the use of natural and recycled materials and social memory by monuments and sculptures in the focus.
soundscape in European gardens
2023 the events were under the sign of the soundscapes in gardens and parks, whereby natural sounds such as the call of the nightingale and the insect hums were highlighted. Musical diversity, which included jazz, classical, poetry and theater, accompanied the experiences. The Vice President of the DGGL, Beate Reuber, emphasized that this opened new perspectives on gardens and parks. In 22 European countries, garden enthusiasts celebrated together and thus showed the cultural importance of garden landscapes.
Garden fairs, as described on Gartenmessen.de in detail, offer a wide range of experiences for the senses. They present gardeners, craftsmen and designers who convince with their selected products for indoor and outdoor spaces. Musical performances and culinary delights are often part of the programs, which makes the events a special experience for garden lovers. The website offers a digital calendar for an easy search for garden events and a wealth of tips and stories about garden and lifestyle.
The "rendezvous in the garden" will not only be a highlight for garden friends, but also a way to actively become part of the gardening community and to deepen your own connection to nature.
