This special combination of barrels creates a complex flavor profile.
Aromas and taste experience
What can you expect at the tasting? The aromas of the Port Charlotte 18 Year Old invite you on a sensory journey: dried fruits such as figs, sultanas and raisins harmonize with the earthy peat smoke that characterizes the typical character of the Islay whiskey. The palate reveals a taste of dark brown sugar, fresh vanilla, heather honey and apricot jam, complemented by a fruity note of red fruits. The finish is accompanied by a hint of crème brûlée, roasted hazelnuts and a mineral nuance. A perfect interaction that sets accents!
The alcohol content is a strong 51.5% vol., and the whiskey is bottled without cold filtration or coloring. The recommended retail price is 205 euros for the 0.7 l bottle, which you definitely shouldn't miss out on.
