Chaos on the B255: Risk overtaking maneuvers endanger road users!

Am 12.06.2025 kam es auf der B255 zu einer Straßenverkehrsgefährdung. Zeugen, insbesondere Fahrer des LKW mit "Hachenburger"-Aufschrift, werden gebeten, sich zu melden.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, there was a dangerous traffic situation at 3:10 p.m. on the B255 when departing to the B8 in Hahn am See. A driver of a white VW overtook a truck in front despite a double -pulled line, presumably with the inscription "Hachenburger". The moment the VW changed the road, a small load truck carried out an overtaking maneuver of the oncoming truck.

To avoid a frontal collision, the driver of the small load car took a dangerous braking and ordered himself behind a truck. This was a collision with the exterior mirror, which was destroyed. The Westerburg police are now asking the driver of the truck with the Hachenburger inscription and other witnesses.
