Arendsee in financial need: budget 2025 rejected!
The waves are currently high in the small town of Arendsee, because the household for 2025 was not approved by the Altmarkkreis. - cycle path K1.002 between Salzwedel and Gerstedt: 200,000 euros.
The budget statute and the planning were decided on June 23, 2025 in the district council and submitted to the State Administration Office in a timely manner. Among other things, this obligation to approve includes a loan authorization of 4,328,000 euros for ensuring solvency, which the legal limit does not exceed and is therefore not subject to approval.
