PS lottery savings: Over 61,000 euros for our Altmark clubs!
In the Altmark, PS lottery savings are becoming a real success story. How AZ Online reports, a total of 44 clubs and groups benefit from a great fundraising project by Sparkasse Altmark-West. In total, an impressive 61,828.50 euros will be distributed, which will benefit the non-profit organizations in the region.
Particularly pleasing: Twelve of these clubs have already received their donation receipts on the Sparkasse premises. The savings bank manager Nils Bartels emphasizes how important this financial support is for the clubs' activities. The other 32 groups that have already received their notices in Gardelegen and Klötze can also look forward to the support.
Funding for common good and projects
But how do these funds come about? The PS lottery savings is a type of savings contract in which five euros are due for each ticket. Of this, four euros will be saved and paid back in December, while 25 cents per ticket will go to projects in the region. The provider informed that the funds do not only benefit the clubs; they also serve to promote common good, diversity and sustainability in the region. In the first half of 2025, a considerable sum of over 61,828 euros was already collected.
The average support per project is around 1,300 euros, with a single project receiving funding of up to 2,500 euros. The beneficiaries include the Salzwedel Youth Church and the Altmark Free All-Day School. Such initiatives show how strong the commitment to the community in the Altmark is.
Future prospects and profits
However, PS Lottery saving goes beyond donating. Each ticket played takes part in all 15 draws per year. This promises not only regular savings, but also the opportunity to win cash winnings of up to 20,000 euros every month. The PS lottery has even announced special draws for 2025 with a total value of over 2.5 million euros. There are exciting main prizes in March, July and November, including an energy-saving home or Deka funds with sustainability features.
The strength of PS lottery savings lies not only in financial profit, but also in commitment to social projects and the common good. The savings banks in the region have proven for decades that they are strongly committed to the interests of their community. The 25 cents that go into the revenue per month per ticket sold specifically benefit socio-cultural projects in the region.
Overall, it shows: PS lottery savings are not only a clever savings model, but also a real contribution to supporting and promoting the community in the Altmark.
