A tragic car accident occurred on Saturday afternoon near Raguhn-Jeßnitz in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district. At 1:55 p.m., an Opel driven by two Romanian nationals left the road on the L135 between Kleckewitz and Retzau and crashed into a tree. A 59-year-old female passenger was only rescued from the vehicle dead, while the 47-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries Day24 reported. The driver died at the scene, while a five-year-old child who was in the van was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Investigations into this are ongoing by the Dessau-Roßlau Police Department's Central Traffic and Motorway Service.
