The anticipation for the big festival in Walternienburg is growing! On Thursday, June 26th, things will be happening in this tranquil town in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district. On the occasion of the 11th stop of the Radio Brocken summer tour The event will be celebrated under the motto “We celebrate our Walternienburg”. A spectacle that no one should miss, as the entire community has worked hard to offer visitors an unforgettable experience.

The winning location of the summer tour receives an impressive 5,000 euros for a project close to their hearts. Walternienburg competes against larger cities such as Staßfurt and Klötze and, with a population of only 445 (as of December 31, 2023), can definitely count on the support of its citizens. This sum could be used to transform the municipal playground into a multi-generational space.

The entire village community is invited to take part and become active. Clubs and institutions have already put together a colorful program, and the fire department is ensuring the physical well-being of the guests. It will be a great opportunity to make old and new acquaintances and to invite local government and city council members.
