Corona news: Börde district remains without any new infections!
On August 10, 2025, the situation in the Börde district, Saxony-Anhalt, is encouraging. No new coronavirus infections were reported yesterday, bringing the total number of cases registered since the beginning of the pandemic to 78,475. The new Nimbus variant in focus
Particular attention is currently being paid to the newly discovered Corona variant Nimbus (NB.1.8.1), which was identified for the first time in January 2025. This variation of the Omicron variant was classified as a “variant under observation” by the WHO in May 2025. Fortunately, there is no evidence of more serious illnesses, which brings some relief to citizens.
