This initiative, launched by the Börde district and the Börde job center, aims to put the spotlight on the numerous companies that are committed to combining work, family and care. Not only large companies, but also smaller companies have a good knack for creative solutions that make employees' working lives easier.

What exactly does that mean? Family-friendliness means that employers actively help you balance your job and family obligations. According to landkreis-boerde.de, this is particularly important in view of demographic change and the increasingly noticeable shortage of skilled workers. Companies that are active in this area have not only done something good, but also secure a competitive advantage when recruiting qualified specialists.
