On the night of Wednesday, unknown perpetrators stolen a Skoda, which was parked in a property entrance. The perpetrators used the vehicle's Keyless GO function by catching the signal of the key and thus opening and starting the car. After the theft, the unknowns made away in the unknown direction.

The police warn: Never put your car keys near the front door! It is recommended to use special bags or boxes that block the key signal in order to prevent such thefts. Witnesses who can provide information on the incident are asked to report to the Haldensleben police on 03904/478-0
