On the night of July 14, 2025, there were once again worrying fire incidents in Oebisfelde. As the police station Börde reported , fires in the city were reported at several locations. The first alarm took place at 00:36, and the fire reports came from the vicinity of the train station. Despite the immediately initiated search measures, the search for the perpetrators has so far been unsuccessful.
