Another major problem is the theft of bicycles, which is increasingly affecting people in Dessau-Roßlau. On June 17, 2025, a 72-year-old man left his bicycle at Wallwitzhafen, secured with a lock. Other incidents included a truck driver damaging a traffic sign and failing to yield the right of way. A wildlife accident on June 19th, in which a car driver collided with a deer, caused damage of around 3,000 euros.
