In an exciting Saxony-Anhalt derby, SC Magdeburg (SCM) meets Dessau-Roßlauer HV (DRHV) in the second round of the DHB Cup. This draw was drawn by ex-national player Steffen Weinhold on August 23, 2025 as part of the Super Cup in Munich. It will be the first meeting in the cup for the Magdeburgers, while the DRHV previously qualified for this round with a 31:28 win against TuS Vinnhorst People's voice reported.
