The Dessau-Roßlauer HV 06 (DRHV) achieved an impressive home win last weekend and strutted off the pitch with a 27:22 win over HSG Krefeld Niederrhein. MDR reports that ... The DRHV continues to be in great form and is celebrating its fourth victory in the current 2nd Bundesliga season. After just six games, the team already has four wins and is thus consolidating its position in the table.
The start of the match was exciting, with an even first phase in which both teams fought for the lead. However, the DRHV picked up momentum in the 16th minute when the players went on an impressive 5-0 run and moved ahead to 10-7. Krefeld didn't let this discourage them and fought back, so that Tim Maximilian Hertzfeld scored 17:16 for the hosts shortly before half-time.
Exciting course and final dominance
After the break, things continued to be exciting. Neither team could really pull away, but in the 48th minute the DRHV turned on the momentum. With two quick goals from Marcel Nowak and Fynn Gonschor the team increased the lead to 27:22.
