A highlight is definitely the Lutherhaus in Eisleben, which is considered to be a birthplace of Martin Luther. It houses the impressive exhibition "So I am - Martin Luther and Eisleben", which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until October. Entry for adults is only 5 euros, reduced 2.50 euros. Anyone who visits the death ticket is much cheaper.

Not far away is the Mansfeld Museum in Hettstedt, which documents the history of mining and copper smelting. Among other things, visitors can marvel at a replica of the first watt steam engine. In Sangerhausen, the Europa-Rosarium , which not only offers the largest rose collection in the world, but also serves as a recreation area. For Rossmania fans: From June to August you can go in for 15 euros, in November to April the admission is even free.

Do you want a very special view? The Josephskreuz in Stolberg sits enthroned with its 38 meters above the region and you can climb 200 steps to the viewing platform. Entry costs 4 euros, reduced 2.50 euros.
