After fire disaster: Fortuna Dingelstedt celebrates comeback!
Dingelstedt am Huy, Deutschland - The foot of the SV Fortuna in Dingelstedt am Huy have solid ground under their feet again. After a devastating fire in March 2023, which put the club home in rubble and ashes, those responsible are now optimistic that the game operations can continue under the currently built containers. Through numerous donations, these temporary solutions have made it possible to provide both changing rooms and showers. The tragedy of the incident is not only reflected in the loss of the clubhouse, but also in the destroyed premises of the local shooting club. The chairman Ulrich Rittmüller describes the situation as a "catastrophe" - over a hundred years of club history and many trophies have been irretrievably lost.
The fire that had ignited in the kitchen of the clubhouse led to a considerable property damage that is estimated at up to one million euros. The destruction of the building was so serious that it is unacceptable due to the risk of collapse. But despite this huge challenge, the club managers are looking forward: the construction of a new clubhouse should begin in the winter of 2023, which is a small ray of brightness after the darkness.

This quickly spread to other containers and the wood club house, which resulted in property damage of 50,000 euros. The police have started the investigation because there have been similar incidents in other club homes recently.
The TuS, which uses the storage room together with FC Firat, strives for a quick reconstruction to keep the time to normal as short as possible.
