Certainly mobile: Prevention day for seniors ensures positive response!

Kohlgartenstraße, Wernigerode, Deutschland - yesterday, on July 1, 2025, the police station Harz and the city of Wernigerode invited to a predestined prevention day. The event was aimed specifically at senior citizens, but also to all interested parties who want to remain safer and more mobile in everyday life. Under the motto "We want you to stay mobile!" the event took place in the gymnasium of Kohlgartenstraße and offered visitors a pleasant and summer atmosphere.

The highlights of the day included a rollerator course of the roundabout guard as well as free listening and eye tests. The traffic training trainer, who simulates dangerous traffic situations from the perspective of a cyclist, was also very popular. Mayor Tobias Kascha himself took part in a test drive with the traffic training trainer and showed that the city leaders are also sensitized to the concerns of the older generation.
