200 years of rifle guild Jerichow: a festival full of surprises!
The rifle guild in Jerichow is celebrating a very special anniversary this year: its 200th anniversary. And for this, the guild invites all interested parties to a colorful festival that takes place on the Saturday, July 5th , at the Jerichow community center in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 55.
at 1.30 p.m. the event begins with the arrival of the guests, followed by the solemn proclamation of the Jerichower Schützenkönig for 2025 at 2 p.m. Greetings are held by Holger Walner, the chairman of the Schützengilde, and Ralf Braunschweig, the local mayor. District rifle master Marion Meyer will also take the floor. The evening program then starts at 7.30 p.m. with a dance event at which Jens Bense encourages the guests to dance while the line dance women come up with a dance performance.

Especially highlights will be the fireworks over Jerichow at 10:30 p.m., which spectaciously completed the festival. Gastronomic care is also well taken care of: In the afternoon, all visitors can use the coffee and cake stand, while the Gasthaus Heinemann offers grill dishes. Homemade ice cream from the Köppe ice cream parlor rounds off the culinary offer.
