A piece of Germany, a piece of diversity

The Intercultural Week is not just an event in Jerichower Land, but part of a nationwide initiative that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Founded in 1975, it has developed into an important forum over the years, emphasizes the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). Churches, municipalities, associations and many more bring cultural diversity and integration onto the agenda with their projects, including in Jerichower Land.

Thanks to the organization by the AWO coordinators of the Partnerships for Democracy in Jerichower Land and the financial support of the federal program “Living Democracy!” The Intercultural Week will be a great success again this year. The numerous events invite you to get to know what is on offer, have conversations and immerse yourself in the colorful life of the culture.

Anyone who is or will be in the region this week should not miss the various offers and become part of these special celebrations.
