This day, July 10, 2025, the A2 motorway between Braunschweig and Magdeburg took a positive turn. After an accident, in which a special transporter lost silicate resin, the left and the middle lanes were released for traffic again. Nevertheless, drivers have to adjust to a continued closure of the right lane, which is expected to exist until tomorrow noon. This information was made by Meetingpoint-JL
In the affected section of the motorway between Eilsleben and the Börde Süd rest area, no sustainable damage to the road can be seen according to initial knowledge. A special cleaning machine is in use to eliminate the scattering remains of the silicate resin, similar to a large oil track in Jerichower Land. The motorway master's shop remains active to continue the extensive adjustment work, while the police are no longer needed on site.
