The safety of road users has the highest priority. Nevertheless, there is a need for action on four other bridges in Jerichower Land because they were rated 3.0 or worse. A replacement new building for the bridge on the B184 in Menz is already in progress, and a new building is also planned for the bridge over the Ehle-Freigraben in Möckern (B246a).
The State Road Construction Authority (LSBB) is responsible for the other bridge systems in the district. This oversees 53 bridges, 41 of which are on federal and 12 on state roads. The LSBB also carries out regular inspections to check the condition of its bridges.
