FCM members discuss new construction and elections in the Avnet Arena!

A remarkable information event took place in the Avnet Arena business club on Tuesday evening, attended by around 150 members of the 1. FC Magdeburg participated. This meeting served as important preparation for the upcoming general meeting.

At the beginning, FCM President Dr. Jörg Biastoch attended the meeting and presented the plans for the new construction of the functional building. With a clear focus on the future of the association, executive board member Dirk Weber also informed about the construction project. Commercial Managing Director Martin Geisthardt gave insights into the club's infrastructural development, which will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to shaping the club's future.

Sporting situation and elections in focus

Otmar Schork, the club's sports director, spoke openly about the FCM's current sporting situation. In a lively question and answer session, members had the opportunity to directly raise their concerns and questions, which underlined the interactivity and engagement of members. Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the candidates for the upcoming committee elections for honorary council, auditor and supervisory board. The members of the Supervisory Board election were given the opportunity to present themselves personally.

The elections for the supervisory board, honorary council and auditor are scheduled for December 4th during the general meeting. Preparations for this important date are already in full swing and are arousing great interest among members.
