Sea fishing is booming: anniversary celebration of the fishing days in Magdeburg!

In a few days it will be that time again: the fishing days in Magdeburg are just around the corner. The event has undergone impressive development over the last two decades. Rainer Korn, who founded the event 20 years ago, will play a central role again this year. From an initial 20 exhibitors, the event has now grown into a major gathering for fishing enthusiasts, with a focus on predatory fish and sea angling. Floatmagazin reports that the anniversary celebration will take place on November 8th and 9th and will offer a varied program.

Project manager Lisa Koch emphasizes that the large area for sea fishing is a unique selling point of the fishing days. In Hall 1, tour operators from well-known fishing regions such as Norway, Spain and the Mediterranean present their offers. Three tour providers from Norway in particular are in the starting blocks and entice visitors with exciting travel destinations. Hall 2, on the other hand, puts predator fishing in the foreground, where dealers such as Angeljoe Rostock and B1 Angelsport present their products.

Diverse program and special highlights

But that's not all: there are also special offers for the little ones and female anglers. The new “Girls Fishing Corner” acts as a platform for women fishing and shows the female side of fishing. A program item that promises great enthusiasm! Fishing days begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th and are open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket prices are cheaper online than at the box office, which is worth it given the traditionally high crowds.

Respected experts such as Torsten Ahrens and Dietmar Isaiasch will also be on site to share their knowledge and experiences. The stage program is led by Rainer Korn for sea fishing and Babs Kijewski for predator fishing, which is sure to attract many fans.
