Today, on October 4th, 2025, the fans in Freital were exposed to an exciting top game against VFC Plauen, which SC Freital ultimately won. In an intense duel, Philip Weidauer scored the decisive goal in the 78th minute for a 1-0 victory in front of 338 spectators, who created a rousing atmosphere. To make matters worse, Bastian Dreßler was also sent off with a yellow-red card in the 90th minute. In this heated duel, Felix Hennig Bautzen took the lead in the 26th minute, followed by Adam Rohlik, who made the final score 2-0 in the 78th minute.
The next highlight is just around the corner: Halberstadt and Wernigerode meet in the Harz derby. Halberstadt sits level on points with Freital in second place and goes into the game as favorites, but Wernigerode proved with a 2-1 win against Halle that surprises are always possible.
