Witch magic in Federow: Reading by Ines Wittenberg for young and old!
In the tranquil surroundings of the radio play church in Federow, a very special event is on the program on August 29, 2025: a children's book reading that is also suitable for adults! The occasion is the reading by the Waren author Ines Wittenberg, who features her enchanting character, the witch Schnattayaga, and presents stories from the scrapbook box.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and is aimed at all age groups - children and adults are warmly invited to be enchanted by the stories! Ines Wittenberg will read from her book “The Little Snail Schillili from the Daisy Hill”, which tells the adventures of a little snail child who is looking for his parents after a storm. This sensitive story awakens memories of childhood and adventures, which will captivate more than just young listeners.
A writer with passion
Ines Wittenberg, born in 1965, has her roots in the Harz and is inspired by the rich legend of the mountains and the stories of the witches who live there. Today she lives on the Müritz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and has discovered the joy of storytelling through her own family - two children and now also grandchildren. Since 2017, she has been pursuing her dream of writing children's books that address important themes such as friendship, family and courage.
Her highly acclaimed debut book was published in 2017, followed by other wonderful stories, including “The Witches of Breadcrumb Village” and the picture book “Hokus Schokus Brokulus,” which aims to introduce children to healthy eating. On their website www.schrapelkiste.de there is more information about her books and her writing journey.
