Bischofswerda celebrates the summer cinema: it gets colorful in the open air!

Bischofswerda, Deutschland - In Bischofswerda, cinema feeling is announced again! From now on, the B28 attracts a total of six performances in the summer months, which should be a hit for young and old. The rainbow association, in cooperation with the Steinhaus Bautzen, ensures a colorful film program reports .

The open-air cinema takes place on Thursdays, admission is from 8 p.m. and the films start as soon as it is dark enough. The special thing about it? If the weather does not play along, there is a weatherproof alternative: a marquee or the event room are ready. With space for up to 100 people - and even more outdoors - if necessary - is created here.

The film program leaves nothing to be desired and addresses the audience with a colorful selection of topics. The first four films are:

• 3. July : "old white man" - a German social satire with stars like Jan Josef Liefers.
• 10. July : "The Book Walker" - film adaptation of the bestseller by Carsten Henn.
• 24. July : "The taste of the little things"-a charming French-Japanese comedy.
• 31. July : "The nun race" - an amusing French comedy about a bike race with Benedictines.

Entry is only six euros, and children up to 14 years accompanied by a legal guardian can even be free of charge. Film fans have to go to the box office for the ticket purchase, or you can easily reserve your places by email or phone.

The summer program is enriched by an inclusive short film festival of the Dresden association "Kino over land". This takes place on two dates: on July 16 at the inclusive summer festival in B28 and on August 23 in the Eastclub as part of the toen festival. Both events promise fresh wind and an entertaining short film experience feels good .

Another highlight in the B28 is the including the Bürgertheater "The Schiebock Town Musicians", which celebrates its premiere on August 22, 2025. The garden of the B28 then turns into a magical stage for the performances, which will also take place on August 24th and 30th and on August 29 as a school performance.
