The now planned new building comprises an area of ​​around 180 square meters and is divided into two parts- a gable roof for the vehicles and a flat roof for changing room, sanitary and lounge. Additional parking spaces for the fire brigade comrades are also planned, which will significantly improve the new working conditions. The joy of this was also expressed by military director Daniel Berndt, who highlighted the improvements for the comrades.

It is particularly gratifying that the city can finance its own reserves without having to take out new loans. The district of Bautzen also provides 300,000 euros in funding. This money is part of the municipal infrastructure program that aims to support fire brigade infrastructures in the region.
