The "Wilde 13" is located under the popular event location Oberdeck, right next to the Tuffner furniture store. Operator Fritz Tuffner has worked hard to the renovation in the past few weeks and relies on an interactive concept in which the number "13" plays a central role. "With our bar we want to open a new chapter in Chemnitz's nightlife," explains Tuffner and smiles enthusiastically. The cocktail creations of the house should be particularly aromatic and creative and invite the guests to linger. Josef Šmída has a special mission in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße: he wants to bring Czech beer culture to Chemnitz with his new bar "U Brambory". The name, which means "to the potato", reflects the connection between the Czech and German culture. "We create a room where people meet, work together or just relax," says Šmída, who moved from Prague to Chemnitz three years ago and has now launched this project together with his German wife.

"u Brambory" is designed in the retro style of the 60s and 70s, with original designer pieces from the Czech Republic and the GDR. In addition to a fine selection of Czech craft beers, there are also traditional snacks such as marinated camembert, pickled sausage and occupied baguette discs.
