Volunteering in focus: Appreciation theme day takes place in Chemnitz!
On Saturday, November 15th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the theme day “Being Seen in Volunteering” will take place in Chemnitz. The organizers are the Community Foundation for Chemnitz, the volunteer center in the Caritas Association for Chemnitz and the surrounding area. V. and the Chemnitz Adult Education Center. The event takes place in the rooms of the Chemnitz Adult Education Center in TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20, on the 4th and 5th floors. Admission is free, but registration is recommended by the day of the event - either online or by phone at 0371 488-4343.
The theme day places a particular focus on the appreciation of volunteers and the club's work. “It’s about focusing on the importance of recognition for voluntary work,” explains a representative of the adult education center. Participants are warmly invited to actively participate in the discussions and workshops and share their own experiences.

The workshops offer participants the opportunity to learn practical skills and exchange ideas about challenges in volunteer work. The aim is to promote exchange and mutual understanding. The organizers have emphasized the importance of recognition in volunteer work and in associations and invite everyone interested to discuss the foundations for the future together and to take advantage of individual resources.
