International network meeting in Chemnitz: Attention founders!

An exciting event is just around the corner! From 19 to June 22, 2025, Chemnitz will be the hottest point of contact for company founders and innovators from all over the world. The international network meeting "Startup Connect" and the participation festival "Makers United" promise to fill the city with around 100 entrepreneurs: inside from countries such as Japan, Taiwan and Nova Gorica. One more reason to look forward to the big meeting.

On Thursday, June 19, Mayor Sven Schulze will receive the guests in the green salon of the town hall. The reception begins at 7 p.m. and there is a welcome opportunity to exchange ideas with like -minded people. The CEO of the Maker e. V., Katrin Hoffmann, will open the event and lead through the first program points. In addition to reception, there will also be various networking events, specialist dialogues and corporate visits that are tailored to the needs of the participants.

The "Startup Connect" event is more than just a meeting point: it is a platform for innovation and networking. Numerous activities are planned in the four days. Company visits to companies such as Staffbase, Novajet and Move Technology are just as much on the agenda as exclusive startup pitches and lectures. The participants have the opportunity to network with other creative minds and to develop innovative ideas together.

• Thursday, June 19: Arrival and reception in the town hall, followed by a Carillion demonstration.
• Friday, June 20: corporate visits, international exchange and pitches from Łódź.
• Saturday, June 21: opening of the maker United Festival, symposium and networking event.
• Sunday, June 22nd: Possibilities to visit "Makers United".

On Saturday there is also a public symposium in the Vulcanus area of ​​the Carlowitz Congress Center. This offers exciting lectures on topics such as collaborations between makers and startups, the challenges that founders have to master internationally, and growth opportunities for startups presented by experts. Participants should register June 22nd in the calendar if they want to have the opportunity to learn from outstanding speakers: to learn inside.

The "Startup Ecosystem" plays a crucial role in the development of new business models and technologies.
